            The property is owned by a group of Michigan families and managed by CreekView Lodges, also a Michigan family

What kind of security do you have?

            You'll find a very sophisticated emergency alert system in each room for an immediate response in case of need.  Also, we have staff on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the building is monitored by ADT 24/7

How many square feet are in each room?

            We have more than 6 room sizes with different views in several floor plans, depending on your needs.  Of course monthly fees are  based on the location and size of each room.  Actual square footage ranges from 300-850 sq ft.

How often do you raise the monthly fee?

            Raising the monthly fee is a concern to all our residents.  Of course we try to be very sensitive to that, but we don't want to cut costs by reducing the services or quality of food.  We do require a 60-day cancellation notice.  All monthly fees are guaranteed through your residency agreement against increase for 12 months.

Do you have an entrance (membership) fee?

            Yes, the $750.00 entrance fee is used to cover the costs of the initial assessment, preliminary care plan, and administration.  It is not intended to be used as a security deposit and is not refundable upon move-in.

Are the rooms quiet?

            Extremely, You'll find that your room is especially well insulated to reduce and eliminate sounds.  We are built with Filled Block Construction.  They are well insulated to ensure your privacy

Are there kitchens in the rooms so that residents can cook if they choose?

            No as we provide 24/7 food and an on-site chef for their pleasure this was not desirable, however each resident may request a personal refrigerator for their room

Is there a place to park my car?

            We have plenty of parking for Residents vehicles; there are no fees for parking

Do you have laundry and valet service?

            Laundry and dry cleaning services are available to all residents, this service is included with your monthly fee

            We will provide additional storage for residents on an as needed basis

What about housekeeping service? If it is available, how much does it cost?

            Housekeeping is regulated by you.  Staff will tidy your room daily, clean, sanitize, change bed linens and vacuum your room weekly.  This service is included in your monthly fee

Do you have cable television?

            Yes, we provide cable at no cost to the residents

            No, the entrance fee is not refundable when you leave the community

            Yes we do. The charge for this is determined prior to the respite move-in date.

Are your rooms furnished?

            Residents usually prefer to bring their own furniture and personal belongings; our models are furnished to give you an idea of how things might look.  You may elect to use one of our model rooms as is, this is can be arranged at no additional cost.

Can I have guests stay at Creekview for a few days?

            We welcome your guests.  There is no problem with their visiting but we do ask that you give us advance notice as our guests rooms are used on a first come basis.

Do you have guest rooms?

            Yes, they may be reserved at the front desk.  The daily charge for a guest room is $50, which includes bed linens and towels and meals.  We also have respite suites, which provide our full range of services; they are available on a temporary basis.

Are my guests permitted to eat with me in the dining rooms? If so, what is the cost?

            Yes, your guests are welcome to join you in the dining rooms.  All you need to do is call ahead (a day in advance if possible) to make a reservation.  The fee for guests meals can be found in the schedule of charges in the food service handout in the resident folder.(cost yet to be determined, but somewhere in the range of $7.00 - $10.00)

Do you cater to special diets?

            We consider your diet.  We plan our menus for nutrition and health as well as for flavor and appeal.  Our Heart Smart menu at each meal features low-fat, low-salt and low-cholesterol dishes.  We'll even please the finicky eater!

Is there assigned seating in the dining room?

            You are free to choose any table that has been set up.

Do you have a workshop? Can I bring my own tools?

            We will have an arts and crafts room where residents will be able to make minor repairs and work on their hobbies.  These projects can be worked on with either your tools or ours.

When I'm out late how will I get in?  Will I get a key?

            The night staff will be able to let you in.  However, for security and safety reasons we ask that you advise the concierge at the front desk if you will be late.

            Our building is structurally sound and can accommodate waterbeds

            We do have not maximum but do have a minimumn age requirement of 65.

            Yes you may bring a current pet with you.  However we will not encourage you to acquire one after moving in

            Yes, all rooms are equipped with individual controls.  The common areas are controlled by a sophisticated energy-management system for your comfort.

            We have personnel on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

            Our staff is available around the clock; each room is provided with emergency call systems in both the bedroom and the bathroom.  If you require specialized care temporarily, we will help you arrange for it through a home health agency

            Absolutely, even if you just want to eat in your room, there's no need to fake being sick!

How are the meals served?

            Three homemade meals are prepared daily, all special requests are handled as they come in and there is an early riser tea/coffee donut in the front room.  Also, High tea is served in the afternoon in the front room.  You will find that food is made and available about every 2 hours throughout the day and if you're an evening grazer we'll have something prepared for you each evening

            No, as we're an "all inclusive" and don't charge for extra meals there would be no credit for missed meals.

            There is FREE scheduled chauffeured transportation weekly and also special trips scheduled thru the concierge.

            Activities are held within our building and elsewhere.  Our full-time concierge will coordinate a full program of recreational activities, trips, special events and seminars which provide for a wide range of interests.

            Yes, our chauffeured is used for a variety of purposes - shopping excursions, day trips, special events and tours of the many tourist attractions within driving distance.

            We prefer to allow our residents to continue to rely on their personal doctors.  However if a resident needs additional services many are available in the area we will coordinate for our residents

            Our entire residence is wheelchair friendly.  We will try in every way possible to serve your needs and to keep you as part of our family

What is assisted living?

            Assisted living is a new retirement-living alternative that offers seniors and their families the security and peace of mind they deserve.  Residents are able to live independently in their own private rooms while receiving just the right level of service they need to stay independent.  Assisted-living communities offer an extensive and varied program of services tailored through a service plan to each specific individual.  The services range from help with simple chores to a comprehensive program that enables each resident to have access to 24-hour-a-day personal care assistance in his or her private room.  Other services include medication reminders and help with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing and ambulatory help..

            In addition to living in a comfortable, secure setting, residents may join in a variety of social and recreational activities and enjoythe companionship of friends and family in their own apartment or in community areas. There is no endowment or other large up-front fees at our communities. All services and amenities are included in the monthly rental fee.
